Hello my friends, apologies, apologies for the silence: all I've been doing is putting in 18-21 hour days walking and trying to whip this thing into cohesive, presentable shape.

It is Fri. Dec. 19th. and I am perched on the West side of the Hudson in Fort Lee, about 12 miles from the World Trade Center site. How surreal. I am on track to arrive there tomorrow and am shooting for around 3pm.

I don't know if I ever even divulged to you that I created a menu item called "My Approach" a little while ago. I have now also created items "About Me" and "Quick Info" the names of which at this late date may give you a window to my organizational capabilities. I've also created a new forum called "Stories involving self awareness" in which I have written about an experience I had---within the long version of the trip---with some less than appreciative folks. You can read the story here if you'd like. I have also made a link to this from the intro. Oh yes did I tell you I re-wrote the intro? If I've not it's merely out of abject fear of judgment.

I had so much else that I wanted to accomplish at the website but rewriting the intro (I realized I needed to define "self awareness") took a very long time---was really for some reason the hardest such thing I've ever done in my life---and then creating a press release with the help of some folks that took way too long has eaten up most of my remaining time. However, as I've said, the part of the project that is the site will continue to develop after the walk as I organize and refine all that I have to offer in relation to it, which is much. I really wanted to make the site more lively with further video before the walk concluded(it's all shot) and to edit the 3 offerings that are there and are far too long and broadly focused. But these things and much more I shall still do and I really hope you grace me with your participation.

Upon reaching the WTC I plan to, starting from the Visitor Tribute Center at 120 Liberty st, do a circuit around the entire site after which I will return to said center and say a few words about self awareness and how it figures into the post 9/11 future we are building together and which, regardless of its nature, we are bound to. I will shoot video of this and post it to the site as quickly as I can.

I must now return to hopefully the successful completion of writing those few words over the next 15 hours while milking several cups of coffee and perhaps a breakfast sandwich in a Starbucks here: the library closes at noon for the holidays. I hope they don't kick me out as I've already been here for hours three. Luckily my endeavor and especially its near completion seem to help with such things.

Until next time, I'll see ya in the funny papers and who knows(?) maybe on the today show or the like.

Go with care.
